I'm working on a Panasonic TC-P42G15 plasma, and I get 5 blinks when I turn it on. Also, I hear a squealing sound on the power supply that appears to be coming from one of the transformers.
The troubleshooting steps I ran across mention checking the voltage on pin 5 of the P25 connector as the TV is powered on; the A-board should be replaced if 5V is present. The voltage appears to climb then drop as the relay clicks off; I actually got "OL" as my max voltage, which I thought was strange. Does it sound like the A-board has failed, or is there a P-board problem?

I'm now seeing 4.8V as the max voltage on pin 5 of the P25 connector when I turn on the TV. So, based on the troubleshooting handbook, it looks like the A-board is bad. Crap. Those are not easy to find at a reasonable price. I also remembered that the person who sold me the TV mentioned plugging in his PS3 to the main board and the TV shut down a bit later.
