By the way, I check/reseated all connectors on the A and D boards. I didn't see any loose wires or connectors. No obvious signs of burnt components either. Thank you all.

    Re: TH-50PZ80U Color problem

This is a loose cable, you need to look closer.

There is a thin red multistranded cable that runs from the A board to the D board, and this often comes loose causing this -exact- problem.

      Re: TH-50PZ80U Color problem

Thank you Tom for the quick reply. I did rechexk and reseated again plug D5 to A5. That is the only plug that connect these two piggyback boards. As an added info, my tv goes reddish as soon as it is turned on. It just happened upon turning tv in the morning the other day, so sudden without any hint. I attached the cable here to confirm if this is what you're talking about. I am reading the Panasonic technical training manual and it seems it could be the D board (TNPA4439) as per described picture problems(page 52). Thanks again guys for added infos before I buy a board. Click image for larger version

That looks like the correct cable. I happen to be working on the TH-50PZ80U's cousin, the TH-C50FD18, that has a different issue. I also own a TH-50PZ80U. If you're sure the cable is seated properly, the next thing I'd try is cleaning the contacts with electronic contact cleaner; Radio Shack and most other electronic stores sell it.

Here's a similar thread for the TH-42PZ80U in which Tom pointed out the loose cable as being the issue: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=18969

            by theone111
I have an LG Plasma TV 60PM6700 for the past ~12 years.

In the last ~3-4 months I have been having some issues.
            1. Problem: It started with random picture disappearing (sound still worked).
Frequency: Happened about once a week.
Solution: Had to turn off TV wait a few seconds before turning it on again.
            2. Problem: Then it got worse and the TV started to shut down and when turning on the no picture just sound.
Frequency: Happened about once a week.
Solution: Had to turn off TV wait about 10-20 seconds and turn it on again to solve.
            3. Problem: TV shuts down

            i have a problem with thinkpad X1 carbon gen 2 "LMQ-1MB 12298-2 48.4LY26.021"
The laptop was turned off because the MOSFET was not transmitting voltage. After checking it turned out that the gate pin on the MOSFET was the problem, because it was producing an inappropriate voltage. and it was discovered that the problem was with the Think engine, so I decided to reprint each pin, and finally the mosfet could work properly. However, there is another problem, even though the voltage has been supplied to the laptop, it still won't turn on, there isn't even an LED indicator. After double...

HANNSG Hi221 -- 2 secs to black feat. CCFL flicker & "burn" marks on power board
            by ttmi100x
            Greetings everyone,

I have a HANNSG Hi221 monitor that exhibits two seconds to black issues (backlight goes off, display is still on as confirmed by shining a flashlight on it) with some additional oddities...

The monitor failed on me with a standard "2 seconds to black" some time ago prompting me to initially replace most of the electrolytic capacitors (some of them were bulging/leaking).
Things kinda sorta worked for a night, then the problem returned along with some flickering and "buzzing" noises.

            Upon closer inspection...
