Hello everyone,
A couple of days ago I found an Insignia NS-42PDP plasma screen sitting in the trash at my apartment complex. There was no physical damage, so I decided to try my hand at refurbishing it.
I turned on and tested the TV, and I am having a hard time diagnosing the issue. The screen has a purple tint to it, and the pixels take a long time to respond. There is also a static effect at the edges when certain colors are displayed.
I am attaching an image of the screen trying to display a white page. The whole screen does work, but it takes a long time for the black areas to show an image. If I try to show a video it is very choppy since the screen is so slow to respond.
Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.
