Hey - I upgraded the firmware on my lc-52sb55u today, and I think something went wrong with that.
I updated the firmware and the TV rebooted - and seemed to be working. I went out and came back later and found that the TV wouldn't turn on with the remote - then tried with the power button. Nothing happens with the LEDs on the front at all when the button is pressed.
I checked all of the PD pins, but see 0V on all but 3.1V on the AC_DET pin and 4.9V on the BUSY pin. I tried to see if the PS_ON pin would get voltage for a moment when the power button is pressed, but no luck.
Have any ideas on what to check next, or will I need to buy a new mainboard?
This site has been awesome - I have read up a lot on all of the related issues I could find.
Thanks for taking a look!
