yes the tv turns off backlight flash on startup sound???? j ais taken inverter 24.41v I tried removing the cable on the inverter power supply, the power supply is not cut please thank you

hello, I return to my lcd because I still have the same problem, I change a transformer t the first card that was hs and inverter transformer
model (4023Q), always the same failure, I buy another card but the problem remains the same, then how? I still look at my power supply, my 24 volt ok
emerge, why when I plug in the power supply inverter slave is not cut and when I plug the card master card buy on ebay 30euros the power supply is cut. thank you

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
    by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

    Assuming...

Desoldering gun station modified to use a 18 volt @ 20 amp switching power supply
    by sam_sam_sam
I have wanting to do this project for quite sometime now and I finally found a switching power supply that will work on this desoldering gun station ZD-915 that the original switching power supply took a shit and just was not worth trying to fix it because this switching power is not quite big enough to handle the heater element and the vacuum pump

One note when I tested the switching power supply and the voltage control board I noticed that this desoldering gun heat up much faster than the original switching power supply which I was really surprised by to the point that I might buy...

Looking for help with a Viewsonic VP230mb where the backlight comes on only momentarily
    by lostone
Hello, I came here after finding some similar questions asked on other monitors and hope someone here can help me get an ancient Viewsonic VP230mp (23" 4:3 LCD) back to working condition.

First a little background, I have a background in computer and electrical engineering, and I'm smart enough to know I know nothing about LCD displays and how they work. For this topic I'm as green as they come.
When the display is turned on the viewsonic logo displays in the uppper left for 2 seconds then the screen goes black, the power LED is green (on) and when a computer is connected...

Insignia NS-LCD19-09 (third and final post, hopefully!)
    by valvashon
I have been going round and round with this one for a couple of years. It's a 16x10 display that allows you to size your OTA picture correctly to 16x9 and that makes it kind of cool so I really want to keep it on my OTA monitoring wall. Accidentially let a screw roll under the powered power supply board and ended up replacing the MOSFET drivers for the inverters, then one of the Schottky rectifiers for one of the supplies, then the PS caps becuase I fired the parts cannon at it one day.

Problem was no cold startup; it would only startup when you applied a heat gun to the board....

Modification to a ZD-987 desoldering/soldering station using a external switching power supply
    by sam_sam_sam
I have been working on this concept for quite some time now with limited success but recently I found a switching power supply that is setup for the voltage that this soldering station needs to operate at however it also needs part of the secondary circuit from the original switching power because you need several voltage rails

I once tried to get a ZD-915 desoldering station to work on a 18 volt battery power supply but unfortunately things did not go well but I did find a work around but I might try this idea again but going at a little differently more about this another time...
