hi all
whilst googling for an answer to my issue i came across this
same tv different issue
as my name suggests i have no expertise in taking electrical components apart
not that i'm not willing to try, it only cost me $124.00
this tv was hooked to my wifes computer
it worked fine for about 8 months
we connected it to a dvd player over christmas
when i plugged it back into the computer the "brightness" was gone
you can still see a picture (or desktop in this case)
but it is very dark
(and yes i played with all the osd controls that are available)
so to make a short post long
can this be fixed?
is it worth it for me to take to a shop? (cost wise)
or with some guidance from badcaps can i fix this myself?
if i take the back off this thing will i be able to tell where the issue lies?
i'm happy to provide any info or pics as required
cheers
ron
