Toshiba 52HM84 DLP TV

I am trying to repair the lamp ballast on a Toshiba 52HM84 DLP TV however I can not identify some of the diodes on the lamp ballest circuit board. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the Service Manual for this TV. Thanks!

I am trying to find the same info for this ballast, have had it sitting here on my bench for months. The ballast, made by Rubycon, has a high failure rate of diodes, FETs, resister, and tantalum capacitor at the back right corner of the board. I know the diodes are failed but I haven't been able to identify them to be able to buy suitable replacements. Since the ballast is 3rd party made and is part of the lamp and light engine tray it seems they don't have any detailed info on it in any of the service manuals.

Let me know if you come up with anything, I will do the same.

Thanks! I found the Service Manual for Toshiba 52HM84 and the drawings for every circuit board in the TV except the one for the lamp ballast. The ballast was made by Rubycon Corp. #RPB-4434ZA, Toshiba part number is 23122468. Any idea on where i can get a parts list or drawing for this ballast. I need to replace two diodes that go on this board. Thanks

What are the markings on the diodes?

If the part is bought in by Toshiba from Rubycon (who make caps and PSUs) then only Rubycon would have a schematic, and they would be unlikely to release it.

One of the diodes is black with a single green band with the markings GV246 the 4 and 6 have lines above them. The second diode is black with a single violet band and the markings 46B.

bump this for an answer on that diode with a purple or violet band and 46b on it. i am fixing the same problem in the ballast of a 62hm94 which has the same type.

yea im on the last page of that site as well. i think i found out the manufactor which seems to be nihon maybe. but havent been able to correctly identify what type of diode it actually is. i have another tv that is just like this but im not sure if there is any reading i can take on those diodes to reveal what tolerances it is

The diodes are 2 FMV-G2GS in the D2 and D3 with rubber tubing on them?
