Hi everyone,
I have recently acquired a Vizio P50HDTV10A Plasma TV that has the following symptoms. The unit powers up to static though it flickers rhythmically with no sound although there is a clicking sound coming from the region of the y-sus board in time with the flicker. Menu buttons don't seem to be responsive. Below is a short video clip.

Judging from what I have read on this forum as well as googling I suspect either the y-sus board or the y-buffer boards. Does it sound like I am on the right track? Also what is the best way to narrow down the faulty component. I do not have an o-scope, however, I do have a good multimeter and I have a decent hand with a soldering iron. I have found chip repair kits for the y-sus board, but I want to verify this is the bad component if possible before buying replacement parts. Also I checked the y-sus fuses and they are still good.
Thanks in advance for the help,
Michael
