    Samsung LE32B651 - sound and no video

    Hello

    When I start my Samsung TV all is ok but time to time in a ranomly basis backlight switch off, sound is ok and I can see the picture on the LCD panel with the help of a strong external light source. When this problem occurs i have to switch off / on the TV to get the picture again.
    Since 2 or 3 days the problem is getting worse et I cannot use the TV anymore.

    Here are some pic of the board inside.

    what can i di to fix this ?

      Which country are you located in? 115V or 230V mains?

      The transistor QP801 has got very hot. This could cause its solder joints to crack, which would possibly cause lack of backlight. I advise you resolder all of the transistor solder joints and see if the issue persists. Cold solder joints are a very common issue with Samsung TVs.

          It's your lucky day, I have schematics for BN44-00261A and BN44-00261B.
          My SM site hosts these and I still have FTP access to it. Hopefully main site will be up by tomorrow...

              Thanks for such a quick answer !

              I'm in France where the main voltage is 230 V

              I'm going to resolder these transistor right now, i'll keep you in touch about the result.

                  Just remember to do them all, it'll only take a few minutes, and this will ensure that you won't encounter future issues. If you can, use leaded solder.

                      Works done...

                      I have good trust in this soldering job because the tv is in much more better condition than this morning. I hope it was just that. I'll come back in a few days to make a report.

                              I am working on a Samsung un55cu7000d which has backlights and audio. There is no picture. This model does NOT have a separate TCON board. Before I order a main board I would like to try and confirm that the issue is not in the display. The ribbon cable from the main board goes directly to the display and I can then disconnect the left from the right. When I disconnect the right side the display lights up on one side but has no video being displayed. Can you all give me some guidance on how to confirm the main board is the issue.

                              Hi all,

                              Ok so I have this beautiful un55h8000 samsung tv with sound but no video nor backlight. When turning the set on the red light blinks 5 times.

                              The screen shows no damage and backlight turns on when I disconnect the power supply from the main board. The tcon board only has 2 out of 3 leds on.

                              Hello, everyone!

                              A co-worker gave me a 55-inch Samsung TV model UN55MU6103F so I can try to fix the following problem... As soon as I plug it in to the wall, the TV turns on, and the display shows a few stripes all over the screen. I took off the back cover and disconnected both ribbon cables that go to the display (one at a time) so by doing that I can narrow down the bad section of the problem, but in both cases the display turns black. I know there are some voltages that I have to check (VGH, VGL, etc.) but don't know what reading each has to show. If anyone could guide me on this,...

                              I am facing a strange issue, I don't have any sound over my internal MacBook speakers and also the video won't start. If I change to my head speaker or via HDMI (speaker on my external Display) the sound works over the head speaker or Display and also the video starts (ex. youtube).

                              All happened after the battery ran out of power overall several days when I was on vacation.

                              I tried to remove the battery and then reconnected the battery, and then the MacBook Pro 14 2021 won't accept any power from my power socket. Then I removed one speaker, connected again the battery...

                              When I select the FM receiver, I find a radio station, the sound is heard on REC OUT(L,R), REC TAPE1(L,R),REC TAPE2(L,R) on high-ohm headphones, the sound regulation does not work.
                              The output reacts when I connect the record player to PRE OUT FRONT L, the sound is heard in the speaker but the sound regulation does not work. Then it does not matter what I chose on the front selector.
                              I replaced the capacitor C303/0.047F, nothing changes.
                              I'm asking for help, what should I do next?
