    Samsung pn50a450p1d Y board issue

Have a samsung pn50a450p1d 50 plasma. Powers on then cycles and shuts down repeatedly. Unhooked y board, powers up fine. Anyone fixed or diagnosed one the of these? Y board #lj41-05380. No bulged caps, fuse if fine.

Out of focus and too brightly lit. But it appears to use a combined buffer. Some FETs on the third heatsink down blow.

Sorry for picture quality, I know its horrible. Have yet to invest in a camera that can take detailed photo. I have a surplus of boards out of broken tv's, might be a dumb question, but if its the same size and configuration. Why could I not use fet's off another board even though they are not that part number.

Because you can't use different parts when the circuit is designed for specific types, not all MOSFETs and IGBTs are compatible with each other.
