Possible Purchase Samsung Plasma Pn50a510p3fxza Vertical Lines

Hey just needed an opinion, About to buy this samsung plasma Pn50a510p3fxza for $50. I'm guessing its most likely a bad panel. I'm probably gonna buy this panel and resell the parts inside, but just wanna make sure that the parts are ok.

You guys think its a bad panel?

Definitely a bad panel. However, that kind of failure rarely occurs without someone doing the death to a plasma panel -- connecting Va while it is on. This kills the panel. So someone may have worked on it. I cannot be sure. Sustains and buffers are working, main is working, control is too, power supply as well.

Wouldn't invest $50 in it TBH, boards can be hard to sell... $20~30 maybe, plus add in your fuel costs...

Verticle lines on Samsung PN42A400 Plasma TV
      by xNOTx
Hello 👋 I have a tv with these red lines. I've tried cleaning and re-seating the ribbon cables but no luck! Tried all 4 on the LJ92-01485 board and on the bottom of the panel. Do you guys think it's the board?|

Colorful LCD Vertical Lines on Samsung ue55es8090
      by Falki
Hello there, ive recently found an older 55inch Samsung SmartTV.
Sadly it has vertical lines at the left and one line in the middle-right.

I have already tested out the connections and have looked at the soldered ribbons of the LCD panel to see if some contacts got loose by pushing them a bit but with no success.
I have factory resetted the TV as well but also with no luck.

I am afraid that it is indeed a LCD Panel issue but there are NO scratches or any impact-marks..

A similar issue has been posted as well but also with no actual response ...

Samsung Plasma TV with vertical lines (model PN50B430P2D)
      by afex
This is my 2nd broken TV I'm trying to fix and haven't been able to figure out... currently going without any working TVs so am hoping to be able to fix one..

This Samsung PN50B430P2D Plasma has this big block of vertical lines which will fade in shortly after turning the TV on. The lines will sometimes flicker a bit or fade in/out and sometimes it just stays present. The length of time it takes them to appear varies, sometimes its a few minutes and other times it appears immediately after powering on.

I have attached an image of the TV with these bars displaying....
