Polaroid FLM-3201 Blue Light Only

I have a Polaroid FLM-3201 trying to save from the EWaste pile.... in standby i get a solid red light on the front, when power button is pushed, i get a solid blue light, and no picture. In reading the net, Caps are the cause. I opened it up, and sure enough several caps are mushrooming at the top. Great, I order a cap kit (as it just makes it easier), it arrives, i tell my son, hey lets fix the tv..... so here is my dilemma.... My son had started removing the caps, and before I could get into the garage he had about 8 removed already….Here is what I could come up with, but I am not sure if its right. I will give you location, voltage, and Uf rating.

E902, 50v, 22uf
E903, 50v, 22uf
E904, 16v, 100uf
E906, 25, 220uf
E907, 16v, 470uf (not sure about this one)
E908, 25, 680uf (not sure about this one)
E909, 100v, 33uf
E910, 25v, 680uf (not sure about this one)
E911, 25v, 680uf (not sure about this one)
E912, 35v, 220uf (not sure about this one)
E914, 25v, 220uf
E915, 35v, 680uf (not sure about this one)
E916, 35v, 680uf (not sure about this one)
E919, 35v, 680uf (not sure about this one)
E920, 35v, 680uf (not sure about this one)
E921, 35v, 680uf (not sure about this one)

This is for a Polaroid FLM-3201.

The Power Supply has KAS200-5S242212X (ver A 2.31) on the top of it

If this is not a common set or board you will struggle to find anyone who know.
Post a good picture of both sides of the board and close ups of the area the caps are from.
front and back (in the same orientation) (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) using the manage attachments button, which is found by clicking "go advanced" under quick reply.

Please do not post inline and offsite as they slow down the loading of pages.

Here are some more clues - doesnt actually say which version of the board
but says he has replaced 5 35v680s and 3 25v680s so based on diameter
they would go where I have indicated. You can see clearer on the original picture which 8 he has changed as he has used panasonics.

IF your board is the same perhaps you can edit the picture with the values you do know

Oh no I am here, and very much interested!!! I have been researching all over the net, to no avail. Thank you for the one picture, and the values!!! that is my PS exactly. I was checking my email, and did not expect so many replies so fast.

Good - is that it sorted then ? _ take care to put the new ones in the right way round. hopefully they are good quality replacements otherwise you may be redoing it in a few weeks.

Those look like Panasonic FC -- very good quality caps.

Yes - Dont know if you have followed the whole thread - the picture is not HIS board its a pic I found on line. He bought a kit.

Just to status the update... I had two caps in the wrong position, so i desoldered, and resoldered, and viola!! screeen came on. The I realized, i must have layed the screen down on a screw, i now have a small crack in the glass... Oh, well its not too noticible, LOL... The important things is I have power to the set.


Now I have a awesome pioneer reciever, that needs an overhaul, and i wont let my son desolder anymore caps.

Well thats good news and bad. Sorry to hear that. When you say you got two mixed up is your last picture correct? If not can you post the correct version for future viewers.

The picture i uploaded was correct. I took that picture and went back over my caps on my board, and found the two mix matched caps.
