Replaced Y-SUS board and both buffers. I now have horizontal bars in some areas. Some are thick and some are thin. Any guesses as to what to do next?

by Akira81Hello everyone,
I have this 55" LG 55LF652V-ZA smart TV which suddenly started flashing intermittently every 2 seconds with the backlight.
If I aimed the light bulb of my cell phone I could see the underlying image even in those fractions of time when the LEDs were off and the audio instead came out continuously.
Armed with a lot of space and patience, I decided to open the TV, immediately noticing that a LED had flamed out and also burned a portion of that reflective white panel behind the transparent LED diffusers.

Symptoms: the panel is on but no picture, fuzzy color vertical lines at the black background at both sides of the panel. Very similar to this:
Disconnecting left side of the panel fixed the right side which went on and displayed picture although with vertical black bars coming from the middle X-BUFFER panel at the bottom of TV and the same 1 fuzzy color vertical line ~ 0.11 inches long and a few 1 pixel black bars. The disconnected left side showed fuzzy colorful bars, may be some glimpses of the the correct image from menu at the right side... -
by canadaboy25Hey guys, I have a Panasonic plasma here with two black rectangles in the display. As you can see from the picture, they affect the menus as well. Both black rectangles extend to exactly the center of the screen. I'm not super familiar with the workings of the display driver layout. Would this indicate a bad ribbon connection on the top and bottom boards? The TV has ribbons along the entire top and bottom of the display.
Any ideas are appreciated....12-15-2020, 12:35 PM -
by xreyModerator: I hope I'm not breaking forum rules or decorum by posting my original question a different way (my previous thread focused on the low vscan readings - but I'm thinking maybe that's not as relevant and won't get me as far as diagnosing as the fact that I now have no picture or sound.)
==========
We all of the sudden started getting a washed out picture and rainbow colored static/snow.
Based on research when we got a low vscan reading we decided to replace the y board and y buffers.
Now I get no picture or sound - TV turns on...10-21-2020, 01:27 PM - Loading...
