Black/Red line in the middle of the screen

I have a Samsung pn50a460 s4dxza (september 2008) . It's a plasma . Are those lines a bad screen or could it be a bad board ? Thank you in advance

Vertical line in plasma is an almost definite panel.

Most likely blown COF IC on the bottom ribbons attached to the panel. Not repairable
Small chance bottom address buffer board fault but unlikely. I had this on one of my Samsungs, replaced the F Buffer with no change. COF IC blown and integrated with the panel.

The bottom buffer boards just distribute the same signal to all the buffers... if it were a bottom buffer, one whole part of the display would not work. Any small regional failure is almost always a failure of the panel.
