Samsung PN50A550 Plasma doesn't light up

Please bare with me as I'm new to this Forums & posting thing.
My TV will not get bright until its been on for hrs. Is this a common problem?
I have replaced the power board once before because something fried on it. I am not afraid to tear it apart again, but have no clue what to look for or test!

I remember seeing these just after the 550b series came out (thinner and cheaper). These were a bit thicker first 1080p. They must have been good units since I never found any that were not working.

I have no history with these and I would guess they are worth repairing as they were one of Samsung`s last effort at building a good plasma tv.

There is a common issue with the relay failing, which fails to remove the thermistor from the start up circuit. Hence it takes a long time before it will work. No idea if A550 is affected.
