Sony kdl 40v4100, pict. Fault

Pict. went off for few seconds then comes back,, This cycle repeating continues.

Any help please.

Does the sound go out when the picture does?

In a dark room, when the picture goes out, can you still see the screen glowing slightly?

well i did not notice about sound, to day i will check all this things and let you know,

But i believe sound is good and inverter ckt. also working fine when this fault happened.

Do u think it might be T-CON board?? I am not sure that is why i need help from experts.

It is likely T-con or main board at fault; if sound continues, more likely to be T-con.

Check the DC voltage on the surface mounted fuse of the T-CON board and see if it comes and goes, if it is steady, then I would think the T-CON is the problem as Tom suggested.
