7-zip worked perfectly. Thanks Tom! Does anyone have a recommendation for an online parts supplier? I've already purchased and installed a switch board from AllProTvParts.com. (I originally thought the switch was the issue, since my kids kept pushing it instead of replacing the batteries in the remote). However, with something as complex as a P board, I'd rather have a proven source.

Those tutorials are amazing! I am apparently such a newbie to this that I didn't realize a P board replacement was more than just a "plug and play" operation.

I'm apparently so new to the forum that I cannot yet start a new thread. I will be more than happy to do so once I'm allowed.

I haven't yet looked at the guides contained in your second post, but I will, just to be absolutely certain my diagnosis is correct.

Thank you for the quick and on point advice!
I can't be sure if that guise is 100% accurate either, I has it saved as PX60 but the front cover picture looked like a newer model now that I looked at the powerpoint presentations.

No idea if it's P board or not, hopefully you can apply the info and fault find a bit deeper

The only powerpoint that deals with diagnosing my model is Lesson 4, and that one only has one page for an SC board fault, which does not have the symptoms of my unit. I think I'm going to take a leap of faith and go with a new P board. Worst case scenario is a misdiagnosis and then I'll most likely need a DG board. I'll still pick up some knowledge and be under the cost limit I set before I give up and buy a new one.
