We have an Olevia 537-B11 that has a problem that I would like help with figuring out the potential cause.
When turned on the blue light next to the button turns off as it should. We have no picture, but we do have sound. Also, the menu screen comes on. The weird part about this problem is that if we change the aspect ratio to 1:1 then the picture comes on and then we can change the ratio to any of the settings and the picture remains on. It just seems like it needs a kick start or something and then it works fine. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?
I have physically looked at the capacitors on the 3 main boards and everything looks fine, but I could have missed something. None of the capacitors show obvious signs of being blown.
