Samsung UN46C6500 LED TV displays vertical, thin, solid, multicolored lies/stripes

When I switch on the Samsung LED TV model UN46C6500 (or UE46C6500 in Europe) I get the whole screen filled with thin, vertical, multicolored, solid lines adjacent to each in front of the the video, see pics here :

After 5-6 hours the TV video picture changes to thin, vertical, black lines like this:

and finally after 1-2 hours the video is clear like it was in normal state.

Can you please check and let me know what the problem is and how to fix it?

    Thank you.
    John.

Suggest a T-con fault. Someone else on this forum has a different problem (though related), same TV (I think it was the 40" but same model otherwise), and the same diagnosis.
Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

      Hisense H55U7B vertical stripes
      by halen
      Hi all,

I have Hisense H55U7B TV with no picture, only big vertical stripes. I did several tests and I'm not sure, where is problem.

      1. Connected tcon to 12V, white, red, green, blue, black picture visible in cycle on full LCD without error
      2. Connected only left side of LCD to tcon, big stripes
      3. Connected only right side of tcon, visible normal picture on the right. Working as expected.

      Where could be problem?

      Tcon RSAG7.820.7932/ROH
      Main board RSAG7.820.8698/ROH

MacBook A1990 vertical stripes on external screen
      by ahoonid
      Hey everyone,

I bought a MacBook A1990 with no screen. I bought it knowing the motherboard was defective but wasn't sure what the problem was until I received it. It actually turns on but as you see from the attachment, it has vertical stripes, on an external screen!!

The board is neat. Not opened before for sure. Just a little dust, nothing more.

Recovery using wifi can be opened, as can also be seen in the photo but it doesn't go all the way through after connecting it to a wifi. It downloads the initial Recovery files but never completes the rest of the...

KD-55X9005A Vertical Stripes Right Side Mirrored Vertically At Start
      by kevinman
Hi, TV boots with distorted image right side mirrored verticaly sometimes vertical stripes making off-on turns picture to normal and "perfect" (netflix image) that I highly doubt this is something related with t-con signal lines?? rather it looks software corruption bad mem chips voltage collapse or an intantaneous fault with fluctuating powerboard voltages?? As it happens usually when TV is cold sometimes fault comes back after a full day use should I check powerboard voltages with oscilloscope??
