    Cable going from the main board (with inputs) to the large board in the centre of the panel.

    Difference between edge lit and rear lit is basically unnoticeable.

    Difference between rear lit and full is that the brightness of each LED can be varied on the full scheme, to improve contrast ratios a bit (though, not really enough in my opinion.)

    was looking at pic 1,2 and 3 and it looks like some capacitors(hope am right) are busted on it,white stuff on the sides,

    Some TVs and the design is retro fitted and sold. Meaning they replace the CCFL and inverter with LED light bar and driver board.

    Ain't that some shit.

    Also pic 5, bottom LVDS cable, gold contact is exposed.
    EDIT: NVM closer look it looks correctly seated.

    Is this a full LED TV? That board in pic #5 looks like the driver for it as well as the LCD T-con (perhaps a two in one function.)

    You say they replace a panel. Was it the LCD panel or a main board replaced? If they replaced the LCD panel, then most likely the main board is at fault.
