Re: Polaroid 32in LCD FLU-3232 no power

I found a picture of this board (front) and there is not much to see due to the closeness
of the components and the heatsinks. In your pics the glue looks very brown -it is white on the pic I saw, and if it is brown it may be conductive so you should remove as much as possible without wrecking the board.
I have been looking at the back pictures onsite and off and I think that is what we need to look at. Good lighting is the key perhaps wait until tomorrow and try and get some daylight - use macro if you have it and redo the close ups of the odd parts again as well. Also front and back of the main board. - If you have a scanner try
a scan - I have heard of other s doing that.
Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

Sorry for taking so long not had chance to look at this recently. Do you mean the paste to the heatsink? There's half a dozen components glued to it, most have three legs.

On another note I've found a replacement board for £25, do you think it's definitely the power board? There's no chance the main board or something else is at fault is there?

I have a few bridge rectifiers here, if your pic matches one of yours I'll throw it in the package.
