    VIZIO E422VL, No Power

    Hi All,

This is my first trouble-shooting request for help, and I'm looking forward to all of your good ideas. I have a 42" LCD that's about a year old and no longer turns on. The VIZIO logo does however turn orange when power is supplied.

I've attached two pictures of both the power and main boards. I reduced the size to meet below 2000 pixels, but I'm not sure if they're clear enough. I'll try to get some better pictures tonight if needed.

So, where do I begin? I've only repaired other E models that needed the MX25L6405 chip replaced, and I don't see that on this one. All help is greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Cooper

start by checking voltages on the power supply. they should be labeled at the connector. list pin numbers and voltages. only one voltage has to be low or missing. list them by the connector by label.

Thanks, awyatt2. I'll do that tonight and post the results.
