I have a Vizio VL26 with bad power supply any one have the same problem ?

Yes i just fixed one of these i think yesterday, I havent uploaded the pictures yet, but it was a hipro power supply with 3 2200uf 10v capxon (crap-xon) caps that had obviously went bad.
As a side note, although crapxon is crap, why they chose 10v caps to filter the 15v rail of this power supply is beyond me
I also replaced the 3 1000uf 35v crapxon caps, that filter the 24v rail.Fixed so far 12 lcd's , 1 plasmas, 5 monitors, 0 dlp's (plan to keep the dlps at 0). and 3 atx power supplies, and 2 motherboards. -

Take some pics though, and if you see any black white capxon capacitors, chances our thats whats gone bad.Fixed so far 12 lcd's , 1 plasmas, 5 monitors, 0 dlp's (plan to keep the dlps at 0). and 3 atx power supplies, and 2 motherboards.Comment
