    Panasonic PV-20DF25/PV-27DF25 Red Screen

I have had this unit for about 6 years, and last night I notice a yellow light on the front of the TV blinking, according to owners manual this shows my timer is set, but the weird thing is that after a while the screen will turn red and then turn itself off when I let is sit for a couple of minutes then its okay for a while and then the red screen comes back and again turns itself off, need some ideas of what is causing this

    Re: Panasonic PV-20DF25/PV-27DF25 Red Screen

I note this is a CRT, so bear in mind it probably won't be cost effective to repair - around here, these TVs get put out on the curb daily, almost all of them in perfectly working order. Sometimes big 32" and 34" Sony Triniton HD mammoths, weighing >100kg with "FREE" taped to them. If you can carry it!

Still, something like that sounds like a bad solder joint or joints somewhere, or a corrupted user setting. Have you tried resetting to factory settings?

Macbook 2017 with touchbar (A1706) won't turn on after removing the screen
      by Ryan.man
Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

Panasonic Plasma TH-50PZ85U No screen No blinks on red power light
      by Alicat
      Hello,

Stopped by this site trying to fix my parents Panasonic Plasma TV.

      Model number is TH-50PZ85U

Power comes on and the red power light stays on solid.

Did a few checks like hold the power button on for 60 seconds, hold the - Volume while holding the menu button, no luck, still@ blank grey screen as the screen lights up very vague.

I also hear a few clicks.

I also think my parents said there was a thunderstorm and the TV failed after that.

Section 6 in the service manual talks about power and no screen,...

Macbook Air M2 A2681 Kernel panics after screen replacement
      by reformatt
Just had a customer bring in a M2 MBA A2681 that had had a screen replacement in April at another repairer. Since then, she has been getting intermittent kernel panics. It's an aftermarket screen, and of course it fails in diagnostics as the calibration hasn't been done. The error in the panic log is "No device added after powering on the rails".

It seems the original repairer has swapped the board and the screen to other MAC's, and said that it isn't a screen issue. From what I understand, by doing a quick search on Google, this is in fact a screen issue. The panic relates...

iphone XS turns off when press on screen.
      by smic717394
      Hi,

I have a iphone XS that came in for a screen replacement, the screen was badly cracked, and inside missing scues, on the back of the screen still the blue protector, the screen was a LCD. So we replaced the screen and all good, installed the screen and we noticed that pressing the screen with a bit of force but not excessive, the phone dies. After plugging the charger it turns back on, but again if you press it it dies. I open the phone again, and I can't see anything major, with the phone open, if I press on the logic board, battery, charging board, or even putting pressure on...
