Dell W3201c stuck on logo screen

The TV starts up and is stuck on the dell logo screen. I've trouble shot it down to the mainboard on my Dell W3201c 32inch TV. I use this TV has an extra monitor because the sound is out also.

Is it possible to take the cable coming from the mainboard into panel and just splice a DVI cable on or are is the input signal different? It looks to be about the same number of wires as DVI.

Let me know, I have no idea how most of this stuff works. It probably isnt worth the $50 to replace the mainboard.

It's not possible to just splice a DVI in unfortunately. Most likely the fault is a corrupted EEPROM, which could have occured due to the bad caps on the motherboard. These can be re-written and you can usually find a dump online, but you'll need an EEPROM programmer to write it.

    A working TV? How boring!

I cannot locate a dump file. Is there anything else I could use this TV for in this condition? it seems like a waste to throw it.
