Sony KDL-32L400 - Led error code?

Hello all

My first topic here

My 1988 Sony stopped to work suddenly; led is flashing but I can't undestand the meaning. First check was in the G board, the standby voltage is ok, all other voltages too when powered up; the unit pass from stdby to power on but no backlight so I checked the voltages on the LVDS and seems to be ok, BUT there is no power on signal from the A board to the lamp inverter. Another problem is the service manual, the CZ1 chassis is totally different and the MA2 has only the G board equal. This is an image on ebay of another A board equal to mine.
I cheched caps too, none bad.

Could this be a KDL-32L4000, not a KDL-32L400?

Anyway, post the blinking light codes and pictures. These Sony TVs are pretty straightforward to diagnose thanks to the lights. Have you downloaded the service manual?

Your video is private, so I can't watch it. Anyway, I found the service manual, you can download it here: You many need to change the extension back to PDF to get it to work.

Interesting, this model does not have self-diagnosis functions in it, but it shuts off if there is a problem...

When you turn on the TV, can you see the backlights come on? I repaired a 40 inch Sony that had bad inverters, it would try to start, but the lamps never came on, and it shut down.

The model I have seems to have a self diagnosis, when the unit is in on state no lamp on...

hi your unit not enter into remicon diagnosis "self diagnosis function". because your problem is blinking green light only.. some tip to remember self diagnosis function is blinking red light its depended on the model. you said you have no BL on or Inverter on.. if all output of your power supply is good your problem is on the main board try to check fuse link in main board their 6 to 10 fuse link their chip fuse. if all fuse is ok just take a photo on your main board side A and B.
