Any 1 know any info on this model plasma..some 1 selling 1 local for 40quid saying picture comes and goes..bottom less pit or worth buying..

Hi Tom/anyone.
I've got one of these PDS 4250 plasma screens and would like to fix it if possible. It powers up OK, but doesn't pass through any video input signals, instead showing a sort of fine zig-zag coloured pattern. If I connect my PC to the PC input, that does work (though not very good). That, and the DVI input show, 'no signal' when selected without anything connected, but the others all show the strange pattern instead (with or without input) - it just fails to pass through any of the SCART or Component inputs. Any ideas? I'm an ex-TV engineer (25+ years ago!), but have no experience or knowledge of plasmas and no circuit diagram, so am at a bit of a loss as to where to start -I can upload an image later if needed. Maybe a low voltage supply missing? Any help would be much appreciated. thanks.Comment
