    Vizio VX42L U33 Part Replacement ?

I have what seems to be the same issue in some of these posts with this Vizio. I checked the VO on U33 ,and it reads 2.1 VDC. I just need to know where to find a replacement ,and is this a fixed ,or adjustable regulator. I have not found this manufacturer at Mouser, or Digikey.
    Part is marked AMC1117 F07131.

    Thanks, Tom

If there's no voltage designation on the chip (like 1117-33 for 3.3V for example) and there are resistors connected to the leftmost (ADJ/GND) pin, it's most likely an adjustable version.

The 1117 series voltage regulators are pretty much a jellybean part, much like the 78xx series.

edit: Assuming it is an adjustable version:

just make sure the package matches the one you have..

Thanks a bunch. That's the exact number off the part.

Update : Replacing U33 seems to have fixed the issue. I have a blue screen with no signal box floating around ,and it turns off ,and on with the remote.

        Thanks for the help.

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
              by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

              Assuming...

Unknown transformer : how to find a good replacement part ?
              by the_rem
              Hello guys,

I would like a quite old but still good 800 W ATX PSU to be repaired. The problem was an extremely heavy coil whine coming from the small secondary transfomer on the PCB.

I desoldered it hoping the references on the upper side would allow me to find a adequate replacement part. Sadly the written references drove me nowhere but to the manufacturer (I-MAG). I sent them a message like a bottle in the see asking them to send me a datasheet of the transformer. And... They responded ! I received a kind of datasheet (see attachment) but my competencies do not allow...

Trouble to identify part (Lunii screen) for replacement
              by FreakyMex
Hello guys. I'm a complete noob in electronics. I'd like to repair my child Lunii's (a "story box"), basically an audio player that allows the childs to choose between several options the places, characters, objects of the story, and then play a story according to the choice of the child. There is a screen that display the selected option before each choice. The Lunii fell and the screen is now broken.
I'd like to repair it (probably just have to change the part, because the lunii still works perfectly fine) but I can't manage to identify the part/order it online. Do you have any...

              Hi There!
I'm trying to help my friend who owns a restaurant be just bought.
He has a very long LED strip running along all the walls and columns. The strip is attached facing down 2in above the floor, using a wall panel that ends in a metal rail that finishes the panel underneath
It's stuck using, I guess, the 2 sided tape that comes with the strip
The issue is that like 1/2 of the full length, including 1/2 one wall, another entire wall, and one column, flickers after 4 or 5 minutes ON. Particularly it flashes staying OFF most of the time and flashing ON for 1 tenth...
