    Emerson LC195em9

Emerson lc195em9 2 Lcd tv w/vga input. Power light comes on then immediately starts fast blink on and off. Lcd panel does not show any backlight/video. Examined all caps and tested with esr meter, all within tollerances.

Not sure where to go from here.

The missing capacitor on the inverter board was fine, needed to use it in a pinch and it has been replaced with Rubycon

    1) I didn't download to take a look, but service manual for EMERSON LC195EM82 LC195EM87 might be the same as your model?

    2) Great clear photos. Thank you.

Take a look at the area of the left-most connector in the first picture. The jumpers in that area are marked to indicate ths voltages they carry. Verify they are correct.

Absolutely it is legit. Everyone here uses it.

Try using Internet Explorer 7 or 8 or 9 and looking for the Get Manual icon near the bottom of the screen (just to the right of the picture of the TV).

Okay, now i am confused. All of a sudden the thing starts working properly and displays video. Unplugged and moved to other side of workbench, plugged back in; original problem reoccurs. Checked for loose connections, all appear intact.

Typical of a bad solder joint somewhere. I offer my condolences.

Is there anything else that i can check as i have already carefully examined all boards with aid of a light table to check for holes and cracked joints.

About all you can do is flex the various board slightly with power on to see if one particular board causes it to quit. IF you can localize it to a small area, the resolder everything in that area.

i currently have the same tv, and same problem.
                      Questions:
1 Did you ever find a manual for it or are the above manuals "close enough"?
2 Did you ever find a solution?

                      thanks

Panasonic ZT60 plasma tv with strange behavior and 8 blink code
                        by cloo
I recently got my hands on a 60" Panasonic P60ZT60 plasma tv (european model) that has some strange issues along with an 8 blink code.
It know this tv is getting old but it was once considered one of the best plasmas ever made, and i think it is still holds on to that even by todays standards.

So, long story short. When i first got the tv it had a very bright washed out picture with very raised blacks in all picture modes and i couldn't find the cause in the picture setting menus.
After doing a factory reset this problem was gone and the picture was back to...

Un50cu7000 2 blink oddity *partially solved
                        by EazyBone
I write this to maybe help another with this TV.

So I aquired this TV a 2023 model. It started the 2 blink reboot problem which indicates bad panel. It was still under warranty and the repair man came by.

The Samsung repairman brought a brand new panel and switched my original boards to the new panel. The new panel then had the 2 blink error code. The repair guy said he has seen this and the MAIN board on this model will cause the 2 blink. He then replaced the main/power board (they are both connected) and put it back onto my original panel. Voila it worked.

                        Hi everyone,

I'm new here and trying to repair my Panasonic TX-P50V10E plasma TV, which is currently showing the 6 red blink error code.

Just for context: I'm used to building PCs and installing modchips in old consoles, but this is my first time trying to fix a TV. I'm French, and while my English is okay, I'm using ChatGPT to help translate and clarify my messages as much as possible — so please forgive any odd phrasing.

I'm also not very experienced with using a multimeter, but I'm very motivated and ready to follow instructions carefully and report...

I have been trying to solve the power-down 8-blink red LED problem with my Pioneer.

So far I have replaced the power supply board, and the digital assembly board, I have reconnected the ribbons to all boards, ensuring the connections are good. Even though the problem is the 8 red light error and not the more common 8 blue light error code, I had Kcrownie,

                        by nervx
Years ago my tv gave a 7 blink code which turned into 8 during diagnosis. I had ordered a replacement ss board but somehow the tv started working again and i never used the board. Now a week ago my tv flickered and shut off at random and gave the 8 blink error code. The same issue it had all those years ago. The only difference this time is that over the last few months there has been some purple and green tinge that comes and goes in more solid colors such as white.

Anyway i checked all the screws and replaced the ss board with a known good one and still got 8 blinks. I saw a...
