    Westinghouse LCM-22W2 monitor does not work

    Hi guys, I am having problem with my Westinghouse LCM-22W2.It does not work at all. I read all post about this type monitor, but I did not find solutions which help me with monitor. I replaced power supply (DAC-19M009) that did not help. I think that problem with main board (a190a2-a02-p-s1). Also I tried to find schematic for main board but I cannot find it. Right now I have completely broken monitor. Power supply works fine (5 V and 14 V). Also, volt regulators on main board works(1.8 V and 3 V) . . Appreciate any information you can give!Thank you

    1) Post pictures of your boards following the instructions below.

    Please do not post pictures inline as they slow down the loading of pages.

    For best picture quality and clarity take your boards to a window on a sunny day, turn flash off, and use macro mode. Take a top down view of all your boards (front and back). Make sure the photo is legible so that we can read the PCB printing clearly. A shutter speed of 1/125 or faster will produce nice clear focused pictures. Try to get a photo that is 2000x2000 resolution and less than 2MB or as close as possible.

    Here is an example of the picture composition we want.

    2) Does the power LED come on? If yes, what color is it?

    3) If you hookup a working computer displaying your favourite wallpaper, can you see it if you shine a bright flashlight onto the LCD?

    4) Do the backlights come on at all (even briefly)?

    If you are new to this forum, we can help a lot more if you please post clear focused pictures (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) of your boards using the manage attachments button so they are hosted here. Information and picture clarity compositions should look like this post.

    We respectfully ask that you make some time and effort to read some of the guides available for basic troubleshooting. After you have read through them, then ask clarification questions or report your findings.

    Please do not post inline and offsite as they slow down the loading of pages.

      Westinghouse LCM-22W2 won't power on - no power LED

      SUMMARY
      ======
      This is a monitor made in 2005 LCD. It won't power on. The power LED does not turn green.

      THINGS TESTED
      ==========

      1) Measured steady 164V DC across main filter capacitor.
      2) With the power board ONLY (i.e. logic board is connected), the secondary voltages 14V and 5V DC are present at connector location. The 14V and 5V DC voltages are steady and do no fluctuate.
      3) Fuse FP1 on logic board reads 0. ohms.
      4) All connectors from power board connector to logic board l the connectors are fine.

      PROBLEM
      ======

      1) Press the power button and the power LED does not come on.
      2) I think that problem with main board (a190a2-a02-p-s1).
      3) Also, volt regulators on main board works (1.8 V and 3 V)
      QUESTION
      =======
      Do you have schematic for main board, What could cause that the board does not work.

        On the voltage regulators are you get 3.0 V or 3.3 V DC? There is a big difference because most voltage regulators have a 1% tolerance.

        That is, an AS1117-33 should be

        3.3 x 0.99 = 3.267 V minimum
        3.3 x 1.01 = 3.333 V maximum

            1) On one of those power board to logic/main connectors, there should be something marked on/off, or PS_ON. See if the voltage on this connector changes from 0 V to something > 2 V DC when you press the on/off switch.

            2) The only thing I can think of left to check is the front panel keyboard to see if the on/off switch is actually working or not.

              Hi, I ve found a point marked on/off on the main board , then I check voltage in this point. It always was 4.96 V . Using tester I check on/off switch, it works fine.Thank you for answer.
