    Pioneer Plasma with screen noise

I'm looking at a freebie Pioneer plasma video monitor that's about ten years old now but it seems ot have one major problem besides the signs of being an early bigscreen plasma (that being rapid burn-in).
If I start playing something on it (both moving or still) over time the screen will start to get noisy and after fifteen minutes or so it's a noisy flickering mess.
Is this because of the age of the panel itself or something more related to failing components?

Re: Pioneer Plasma with screen noise

Could be a problem with the Y-sustain, or power supply... being an older generation plasma there's a lot of things that could go wrong. Hey, if it's free, may as well give it a try.
