    Panasonic TH-50PZ800U No Picture/Sound No Blinking Power

    Just picked up a non-working Panasonic 50" plasma.

    Symptom - Powers on by pushing power button on TV only. Power light turns red and stays solid, no blinking, screen lights up. No picture.

    I've confirmed voltages to the board and confirmed the V type voltages are all in range. Confirmed solid green lights on both the SC and SS boards. From the TS guide the next board is the D logic board.

    I've looked up the board and there are several that could be installed. Can I use different version? The board that is in the set is the TNPA4439BJ. The BJ is stamped on and I'm guessing it is like a revision number? Will I have any issues swapping it out with another TNPA4439 board, or should I stick with searching for an exact match?

      for me looks like the problem is in the "A" card
      the "A" card function is DC-DC converter, speaker out and sound processor , AV terminal and AV switch , digital signal processor,micon , HDMI interface and peaks lite 2p

          Ok, validating all voltages in/out of A board. Interesting to see when I disconnected the signal cable from the A to D board I get a bright dispaly vs the dim.

              Confirmed it was a bad video board, or A board. Picked one up at a good price. Now have a great 50" plasma. After this success I picked up another model that is the TH-50PZ80U that had the two blink code. Has a bad D board and A board. So two blink code was D board, and no blink code with dim light was A board.

                  I have the same problem with my Panasonic plasma 50PC77U. Set powers up, grey screen/no picture, solid red power light. Audio is fine. Where did you find this video/A board? Would you provide the Panasonic part number?

                      Search google for parts or ebay. You'll want to get your part numbers off the boards in your set to make sure you get the right part numbers as they sometimes are different even within the same model.

                          Hi, I have a Samsung UE50TU with:
                          - sound and backlight, but no picture
                          - when it arrived, it had a picture for a few seconds
                          - it keeps rebooting
                          - without ribbon cable between the two panel boards, it does not reboot but I have no picture
                          - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel, it does not reboot (but obviously i have no picture)
                          - when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.

                          - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel and with a jumpered...

                          Hi everyone, I have a Panasonic OLED TV model 55EZ950E, as soon as I turn it on I don't have any image the LED goes from green to red LED blinking every 4 sec, I found the service manual suggests checking OLED PANEL, PB BOARD, T-CON connectors but it seems like everything ok, I didn't find any burns under the pb board

                          I have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.

                          Hello everyone,
                          Ive got a UE60KU6079 on the workbench that is giving me some headaches trying to troubleshoot.
                          The previous owner stated that there had been white dots on the screen which from the description sounded like some lenses fell of the backlight LEDs.
                          He had opened the TV from the back, trying to get to the backlight, supposedly gave up, reassebled everything and gave the TV to me.
                          I expected the worst like ripped COF cables or a cracked panel but could not find anything like that yet.
                          Anyway I still fully expect that there has been something seriously damaged...

                          Hi all

                          I was just given a Samsung TV with the issue. I read various threads and videos and attempted the ribbon tape method to gain an image, but no luck.



                          Symptom:
                          No picture no sound.
                          When I plug in the power cord, Backlight LED turns on for a half second and then turns off. The red LED next to the power button located center bottom flashes 2 or 3 times. When the power button is pressed after, it does the same thing.
                          No sound at all.



                          What I tried:
                          1. I tried unplugging the left or right ribbon...
