thanks, but i have already covered what was on there.
my fault is pointing towards a faulty ysus, but as i have already tried 3 from different suppliers, its got me baffled
voltage to the vs-on is 3.3v untill the ribbon to the ysus is connected (without buffers)

Well, I would get a ymain,xmain and buffers and replace the lot at once. The Xmain is powered by the Ymain and a bad X can kill the Y.

A few have tried and that seems to be the general feeling for the safest way with these.

That's how I got my 42 going.

i have already replaced all those parts, as the voltage only drops when the ribbon from the control board to the ysus,

Hi, did Anyone solve this problem? I have the same TV and the same problem. When the ribbon cable connected from logic board to Y main, all the voltages dropped. I replaced all the boards at the same time, and unconnected to the PDP, still the same. I just don't know what the reason is.
