    Frankenstein LCD Display

    Good day all,

Firstly, I think that there is a lot of knowledge here. I have fixed a few LCD monitors that had bad caps, almost exclusively from information found here. I tried to fix my friends IMac g5 2nd gen, but I wasn't 100% sure that it was the caps, so I told them to get a second opinion before I gave the G5 a labotomy...anyways...I am looking for more expertise

I have salvaged a LG LC320W01 LCD screen.

I would like to get this badboy back up and running.

    Progress:

    I have the backlight working.

I have wired up the lvds controller and have mated the correct pins to the 30pin driver cct. When I power everything up, I get the backlight, and the controller power light, but no info on the actual LCD screen. The lvds controller is from a separate lcd monitor that I was unable to revive.

I have found terrific documentation on all of the components involved.

I just don't I have the experience to take this any further. If anyone has any insight into the project, I am all ears.

    Thanks in advance.
