Newby with a question about Mitsubishi DLP.

Forgive a newby if I posted in the wrong area for this question. I did a search here for info and spent a lot of time researching this website and learning a lot of very helpfull info. I am having the common blinking light of death on my Mitsubishi DLP #62725 TV. I already plan to re-cap it from all of the info I have read on the web about this problem. However, I cant seem to find any info about which exact capacitors this TV has so I can get the tools and parts before I take it apart. Thats what I am planning to do, get my hands on the tools and capacitors before I start working on the TV. My question is, is there anyone out there that may know what exact capacitors I need for this TV or point me in the direction on a website that has this info? I really dont want to pull it apart to look on the capacitors to see which ones I need, only to have it apart during the time I order the parts.

    Chris.

I was a little surprised that I couldn't come up with a list of caps, but I see three alternatives.

    1. Pull the DM board on the weekend. Make up a list of capacitors, and place an order with Digikey, specifying USPS First Class Mail shipping. You will receive the caps in Wednesday's mail. Replace the caps that evening, and reassemble the set.

    2. Here is the link to the service manual. Download it, and identify the capacitors.

    3. Paul D318 on this forum says he will send you the information. If you haven't already done so, give it a try.
