    Samsung main power supply voltages

As a result of pulsating pixels on my samsung plasma tv (hp-5053) I measured voltages on both VS and VA test points on the main power supply board. VS is within tolerance steady at 190v. However VA seems to be unregulated bouncing between 70-105v. Is this an indicator that I have a breakdown on the PS Main board? I just replaced the video Main board which resolved almost all of the problems I was expirencing prior to this. Now I'm left with pulsating pixels (faintly) throughout the entire screen. Pulses are about 2hz. In between pulses the screen is completely clean. Please let me know your opinions and experience. Thanks, Todd.

For one point of view, read the October 25th post in this blog.

Well the Main Power Supply did not resolve the problem. Think I'm going to move onto the SMPS board next. Please post if you have any other ideas/input. Thanks, Todd

Just to let everyone know a new SMPS board repaired my pulsing problem. All variable voltages adjusted properly and picture looks as new. Thanks for all the help. Todd
