Good day folks. It's been entirely too long since I've fixed TVs so I'm a bit rusty with all these new models. I have this Samsung set on my bench which doesn't turn on: you plug it in, power LED comes and stays on, but when I try to turn it on, the LED flashes twice in rapid succession, pauses, then flashes twice again and so on. The backlight comes on if I disconnect the main board from the power supply. I tried disconnecting the two large LVDS cables for the panel but nothing changes.

Based on some info I found on similar models, there may still be hope, as others have reported they were able to fix similar boards by rewriting the SPI chips. I couldn't find the exact model number of this board or TV and it also gets a bit confusing as to what I should attempt to flash: there's 2 SPI chips on there: a 25Q40 and a 25Q80 chip, as well as the NAND, which I cannot work with anyway, so if that's corrupted, then the only solution is replacing the board. I came across another thread where someone was able to "fix" the dump they ripped from the SPI chip(s), thus managing to get the TV up and running again, but they didn't elaborate on how to do it. I read something about setting some registers, but I really don't know if I can do that with my basic CH341 programmer. I CAN read the chips though, so if anyone would like to share how to fix them, or provide a pre-made dump, that would be great. I inferred it's the 25Q40 chip that's most likely to be of interest, as the 25Q80 chip is for storing the panel model. Cheers.
