Diah- you weren't far off as the pins I covered were right where you pointed me. Just a few off I believe.
Then check SPI Flash is not shorted.

With this jumper, T-CON thinks that you have two cables connected, and gives signals to the panel, if you disconnect any cable without a jumper, nothing will happen.

    Samsung QN55Q80R Bad Panel Help

Got this tv and it would reboot with no picture when I got it.

Unplugged mainboard from power supply and all leds light up and stay on.
So I try tape method and got the tv to stay on and not rebooot but no picture.

If I cover just the 1st pin on lvds cable the tv and backlight stay on just no picture.

I've tried every combination of pins to cover and can't get a picture for nothing.

Just curious if anyone else has this problem with this model and found a solution?

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

I circled the lvds cable that I taped and marked the side of the cable that I covered with tape on the first pin to get it to stay on.

Missing LCD Panel Voltages VGH, VGL, VCOM (TCL 55P6US Sound & Backlight but NO Picture)
    by maneatingmonkey
I have a TCL 55P6US with sound and backlight but no picture. This model does not have a T-CON board, and the right (rear perspective) panel board is fed from the left panel board. I have not been able to induce any change by disconnecting the secondary panel board or the tape cut-off method on the primary board.

There are a bunch of voltages missing on the panel boards. I can't find any shorted caps of the panel boards, and all of the missing voltage rails read in the kiloohms, which leads me to suspect the issue may lie on the circuit board, rather than a short in the panel.

un60j620dafxza - Samsung No Display Problem
    by stylishconsultant
    Hi All,

    Need help.

I have a samsung un60j620dafxza led tv. When I plug it in it has no display, no sounds, and no standby lights.

So I opened the tv and disconnected the power to the mainboard and the backlight powered up. This according to many people says that this is a mainboard
problem. I checked the voltage coming from the stb and I read 1.3 volts on pins 1,3,5 and 7 which are low volts instead of 13 volts which i think the lcd panel
might be drawing too much power from the power supply that it prevents the right voltage going to the mainboard....

Samsung UN65TU8000 - Panel Issue [ hole in ribbon cable ]
    by NWArkGuy
Well, I will be the first to admit that I screwed up...

In attempting to replace the backlight in a UN65TU8000, I made a hole through one of the ribbon cables between the board that runs along the bottom of the back of the TV and the panel. This lead to a between a 1/4 to 1/2 inch vertical stripe running the full height of the image.

I don't have the experience; personally, to solder a bridging wire for the paths that were cut. So, I have been on the hunt for other Samsung TV's of similar size.

I have 2 that I have found and have in my possession. ...
