Ok, now try it with the cable from powerboard to mainboard unhooked, see if backlights come on steady and stay on.

Update: Replaced ICM801CS with FSFR2100XSL. Board flashes backlight now while standby light turns on and off.
Voltages: while main board plugged in
Pins 7 and 9 (B13v)goes upto 11v then goes down with the backlight flashing
Pin 17 and 19 (B5v)goes upto 5.3v then goes down with the backlight flashing
Pin 20 (PS on/off)goes upto 3.3v then goes down with the backlight flashing
    Pin 18 (A5v)has constant 5.38v
I am wondering what else may be wrong. Any help please.
ICM801CS heat sink getting to 55c

Yep, that makes sense, the parts list I saw was for a 55 inch.

Yes, it is very similar to 1, put it, that is, FSFR2100XSL.
Just for your "65" diagonal, it is the most powerful of this series.
In "46" the diagonal is 1800.

Looking at the remnants of the IC-pictures posted, I think it might be FSFR2100XSL. Please take a look at it let me know what you think

Saw a parts list but wouldn't you know it they didn't list the suffix, just FSFR1800, so if you can read the last part then it looks like it is indeed a FSFR1800XSL.

If you can find a quality service manual it might have a parts list in it.

Well, then you need to know exactly what should be.

Ok, so put the correct FSFR1800XSL in, then continue testing as advised, how could it possibly work with 2 pins completely different, it won't.

in this case.. u need to check pin A5V if its stable
if stable mean pin 20 power on caused by Main boards didn't boot ( boot loop)
if its not stable then the issue at PSU

Yes, you need to install exactly this one (FSFR1800XSL), it will not work with another one.

Pins 7, 9, 11, 13 were jumping to 10V temporarily and pins 17 and 19 were jumping to 5.37V. Jumping meaning they were not constant and held at that voltage for enough time to read them and then showing some milli volts.

I am afraid now that something else has gone bad on the board.

PFC goes high when MB disconnected so BL turn on.. LED indicator lit on mean STBY V present.... but how about Power on signal !!! yours photo of the socket print chart not clear at all.

LG 49UB850V not switching on / standby LED off / LD701 blinks 5x
    by Seb932
    Hi,

i'would like to fix my not working LG 49UB850V tv.

    Symptoms:
-AC plugged in, Standby LED not working
-Switching on, Standby LED blinks 3x. LD2300 on mainbord lights up and after ~30s LD701 on PWS board starts to blink 5x repetetive

    Checked already:
-Powersupply Output in Standby => 3.5V ok
-Switching On => PWR_On on P201 goes high and 3.5/12/24V are present on P201

Any suggestions what to check next?

    Thanks in advance!

Samsung UE75TU7020k No picture, Standby blinks 2 times
    by brithepi2k
My Samsung UE75TU7020k lights up fine when one of the ribbon cables are disconnected from the main board, lights stay on but not getting half a picture, I do the same with the other ribbon and put the other one in and lights stay on but not getting half a picture. The standby light flashes 2 times then reboots then it then tries to come back on again and just keeps looping until I take either one of the ribbon tables out (doesn’t matter which one I take out it stays lit when either one is out). I’ve tested the backlights but all working with none shorting out, I’ve replaced the main board...

Zombie Samsung UN55NU6900F dead / no standby voltage - randomly came to life after hours of troubleshooting then died
    by tvguy12012012120
This is my first attempt at troubleshooting a board like this, I know I could just buy a new board but I'm curious to figure out how this works. I've been testing different components in the evenings this week and I think the problem is with the IC failing to start up for some reason. When the board is plugged in there is no standby voltage.

Then today it randomly sprung to life like a zombie but shortly died thereafter. I have no idea why it would have done that and its the first time I've seen it running. I discharged capacitors on the board last night, then it was sitting today....

Samsung UN46EH5000F wont turn on. Blinks red standby light continuously
    by Jackching
I know for sure it has a bad cap and one cold solder joint. Just wondering before i order the Caps if anyone has any experience with this model? Just making sure there isnt a common component that goes bad besides the caps....

Panasonic P58V11B 8 and 12 blinks error "fix"
    by Biruslapio
Bought this TV used not working, panel flashed briefly on power up and it was blinking 8 times, a quick look on SS board revealed a common fault on the 3uF 250V capacitors, C201 to C205 (C1620X in the service manual), the solder joints were all cracked, C201 and C205 pins were darkened and some sparking had occurred on them, C201 was split open and clearly overheated in its last hours, replaced that one and resoldered the others, 8 blinks fixed.

Also the previous owner broke the antenna connector by taking the TV out of the wall mount forgetting to unplug it, I desoldered the tuner...
