Ok, now try it with the cable from powerboard to mainboard unhooked, see if backlights come on steady and stay on.

Re: L65X1Q_DHS / BN44-00627A Samsung UN65F6400AF Standby blinks twice five times
Update: Replaced ICM801CS with FSFR2100XSL. Board flashes backlight now while standby light turns on and off.
Voltages: while main board plugged in
Pins 7 and 9 (B13v)goes upto 11v then goes down with the backlight flashing
Pin 17 and 19 (B5v)goes upto 5.3v then goes down with the backlight flashing
Pin 20 (PS on/off)goes upto 3.3v then goes down with the backlight flashing
Pin 18 (A5v)has constant 5.38v
I am wondering what else may be wrong. Any help please.

Yep, that makes sense, the parts list I saw was for a 55 inch.Leave a comment:

Yes, it is very similar to 1, put it, that is, FSFR2100XSL.
Just for your "65" diagonal, it is the most powerful of this series.
In "46" the diagonal is 1800.Last edited by lotas; 04-19-2023, 06:49 PM.Leave a comment:

Saw a parts list but wouldn't you know it they didn't list the suffix, just FSFR1800, so if you can read the last part then it looks like it is indeed a FSFR1800XSL.Last edited by nomoresonys; 04-19-2023, 05:09 PM.Leave a comment:

If you can find a quality service manual it might have a parts list in it.Leave a comment:

Upon closer examination of the burnt IC the last few numbers on the part number may be 100XSL. So could this be an FSFR2100XSL? If so I will replace it with this part and update here. Thank you everyone for the quick responses to my issue.Leave a comment:

Ok, so put the correct FSFR1800XSL in, then continue testing as advised, how could it possibly work with 2 pins completely different, it won't.Last edited by nomoresonys; 04-19-2023, 01:54 PM.Leave a comment:

Yes, you don’t need to measure anything, you first need to replace it with the original microcircuit.Leave a comment:

if stable mean pin 20 power on caused by Main boards didn't boot ( boot loop)
if its not stable then the issue at PSULeave a comment:

OK got it. The only legible letters on the IC are XSL. Pictures attached. What could be the actual part I need to fix the board? I looked all over the internet for a schematic for it and could not find it.Aafter looking at the board and the schematic for the HSL I thought it would be the correct part and thats why I got this replacement.Leave a comment:

When main board plugged in pin 20 shows 3.3V while back light is lit and goes down to 255mv when back light is off. This keeps cycling continuously. What can this mean.Leave a comment:

Re: L65X1Q_DHS / BN44-00627A Samsung UN65F6400AF Standby blinks twice five times
I mounted the PSU board back on the TV to measure the voltages and now it is flashing the back light continuously.
Here are the voltages I measured when the main board was disconnected. Pins 2, 4, 6, 8 around 2.5V and 10 at 11mv 12 at 2.43V 18 at 5.38V 20 at 3.37V. Pin 1 at 0V 3 at 1.11V pins 7, 9, 11, 13 at 7.62V pin 17and 19 at 4.22V
I measured the voltages of the outer pins as they are exposed and could not get good readings of the inner the pins. Pins 7, 9, 11, 13 were jumping to 10V temporarily and pins 17 and 19 were jumping to 5.37V. Jumping meaning they were not constant and held at that voltage for enough time to read them and then showing some milli volts.
I am afraid now that something else has gone bad on the board.Leave a comment:

by Seb932Hi,
i'would like to fix my not working LG 49UB850V tv.
Symptoms:
-AC plugged in, Standby LED not working
-Switching on, Standby LED blinks 3x. LD2300 on mainbord lights up and after ~30s LD701 on PWS board starts to blink 5x repetetive
Checked already:
-Powersupply Output in Standby => 3.5V ok
-Switching On => PWR_On on P201 goes high and 3.5/12/24V are present on P201
Any suggestions what to check next?
Thanks in advance! -
by brithepi2kMy Samsung UE75TU7020k lights up fine when one of the ribbon cables are disconnected from the main board, lights stay on but not getting half a picture, I do the same with the other ribbon and put the other one in and lights stay on but not getting half a picture. The standby light flashes 2 times then reboots then it then tries to come back on again and just keeps looping until I take either one of the ribbon tables out (doesn’t matter which one I take out it stays lit when either one is out). I’ve tested the backlights but all working with none shorting out, I’ve replaced the main board...2 Photos

This is my first attempt at troubleshooting a board like this, I know I could just buy a new board but I'm curious to figure out how this works. I've been testing different components in the evenings this week and I think the problem is with the IC failing to start up for some reason. When the board is plugged in there is no standby voltage.
Then today it randomly sprung to life like a zombie but shortly died thereafter. I have no idea why it would have done that and its the first time I've seen it running. I discharged capacitors on the board last night, then it was sitting today.... -
by JackchingI know for sure it has a bad cap and one cold solder joint. Just wondering before i order the Caps if anyone has any experience with this model? Just making sure there isnt a common component that goes bad besides the caps....

by BiruslapioBought this TV used not working, panel flashed briefly on power up and it was blinking 8 times, a quick look on SS board revealed a common fault on the 3uF 250V capacitors, C201 to C205 (C1620X in the service manual), the solder joints were all cracked, C201 and C205 pins were darkened and some sparking had occurred on them, C201 was split open and clearly overheated in its last hours, replaced that one and resoldered the others, 8 blinks fixed.
Also the previous owner broke the antenna connector by taking the TV out of the wall mount forgetting to unplug it, I desoldered the tuner... - Loading...
