are this reading while LVDS disconnected !!!!

about the spi. if you don't find it or it damaged during talking it out... the new one will written by MB when there are correct boot / Operation.

but you need to measure it pin the 8 & 4 in reserve way to compare with yours first check

Both you and Lotus said the spi flash looked suspicious, so well if it walks like a duck it's prolly a duck, there seemed to be some difference of opinion about if the programmer would handle the job of telling if the spi is ok or not. So there we are, you 2 pro techs with completely opposite thoughts on it, I know both of you are completely competent, so WHO is right???

Agreed step by step is best, he can't do 66, no programmer yet, and 113 he said will do in post 114 but must have forgot??

If the TV will work without SPI Flash, why buy a new one? What is the SPI Flash for?

The SPI Flash is currently removed. Do i need to re-install it for the panel to "potentially" work?

I'm trying to do everything you all are saying. I did a whole bunch of checks of the diode packs like @diah asked for in post #113. I can also remove the packs, but just so i'm clear, it is possible to get a picture with the spi flash and diode packs removed?

Ok, well that makes 3 of us that have suggested remove both of them and try it, your move Nick, I Have also seen the tech get a good display by removing several of those resistors in the same area of the panel driver board. Can not recall if any were faulty or not, video was not in English.

Remove these protective diode assemblies and check again, it doesn’t help, put a clean Spi Flash, check with it, if that doesn’t help, then you will need to look for a dump on it under your panel.

Aaahhhh, Ok. 61/62 at panel end is 36/35 at MB end. So the signals are CLK and HOLD.

Im glad we got that confirmed!

any way.. since now the NOR out of the circuit. please compare in Diode mode DT601 602 specialty the reading of Pins 1 & 3 for each against them self and to other pins . also at reserve probe. to make it easy each time to measure write down where are the + & -

Samsung 55" TV - Boot loop but sometimes works fine - UE55MU6470U
    by torchzack
Hi Team - just joined to see if anyone can offer some expertise in diagnosing an issue with a TV.

I've done a few hours googling and youtubing but just seeing if anyone has any insight here. I got a 55" Samsung UE55MU6470U which seems to boot loop and then after 10 mins will boot, work for a few minutes, then turn off and repeat.

Whilst it's on into the normal Samsung menu/boot screen it looks perfect - so I can't see there being any screen issues. I've seen lots of videos with taping across clock lines to diagnose which particular one may be an issue but i don't...

Samsung UN40H5003 boot loop every ~8 seconds
    by eigma
Hi, I rescued a Samsung UN40H5003AF (H = 2014 FHD) from the curb. Symptoms are: standby (red) light comes on, stays on for 8 seconds, flickers off, then comes back on, and the cycle continues.

    Service manual: https://www.electronica-pt.com/esque...is-u8la-71272/

SMPS board: checked voltages, all seem normal (A13V = 12.8V, UD = 3.3V, PWM_BLU = 0.77V, PS_OnOff = 5.5V). Remove 10p cable to main board -> backlight comes on. I think this means SMPS board and backlight are good.

    Main board: BN94-07592P / BN97-08922R...

    Samsung UE49KU6500U boot loop
    by signedupfordownload
    Hello,

My Samsung TV had a black patch on the left side of the screen for a while. One night it shut off and then became stuck in a boot loop. I initially believed the back-light was the issue and replaced the LEDs but it still boot loops. I've since replaced the main board and the issue persists.

With the main board unplugged, it powers on and the back-light comes on. I've tried the tape method but I gave up as I don't know what pins I need to cover.

I suspect the panel itself it broken but have no multi-meter to test. Is it worth investing in one to test?...

Samsung UN50NU7400 - No Picture (but boot screen and screensaver)
    by arbitarytwist
Have a Samsung UN50NU7400 which shows a boot screen and a screen saver if left on long enough but no picture ?

Would a moving screen saver confirm that the panel is ok or it could still be a panel issue ?

samsung un43nu7100 BN94-13191C/BN41-02635A boot loop problem even with tcon jumper
    by THXFX
Hi I need help with a Samsung un43nu7100 BN94-13191C/BN41-02635A with boot loop problem even with tcon jumper.
I've already try tape method and same happen, if I disconnect both flex from mainboard to panel tv boots normal even I hear Samsung sound.
When I solder jumper to make t-con work with or without panel or panel cables connected it still reboot or power cycling.
What I noticed is that there's no voltage in VHG, HAVDD, PANEL_3.3V, AVDD_17V or 12v near dc-dc chip.
I check capacitors and diodes and didn't find any short IN MAINBOARD.
    Measured all power supply...
