Dell Precision 450

I have a Dell Precision 450 with a PSU that is 350w, I need to upgrade the PSU to a much higher one, maybe at least 450w or more but after looking online I can only seem to find the same PSU ie 350w.

Does anyone know if the Dell Precision 470 PSU fits/works with the 450?

Why do you think the stock PSU is too small?

The reason is because on the DELL I have GPU that recommends 450w minimum, currently when that GPU is installed the computer beeps.

That makes sense.

Your options seem to be risk a Precision 470 PSU fitting or retrofit the system into a different case [case will need modified] that doesn't need a proprietary PSU.

Send me the exact measurements of the PSU and I can check my 470 to see if it matches
Don't forget about the locking tabs etc (please in metric values if possible)

if it is a no go, either custom fit (as mentioned) or find a lower power gpu...
