    SMPS Design

    Hello,

I have found a capacitor there fits my requirement for lifetime and ripple current in my desgin, this has a quite high ripple current, and must be 10x16mm, 10uF 400V.

I have found 1 useable from samxon:
    EKM106M2GG16XXSA(10u, 400V, 10x16, PVC, KM series)

I like for my production to have another brand for alternative, i have looked at many of the good producers, but can not find another with same ripple current, any suggestions?

Can it be true Samxon just is better to make the capacitor, or is it spec. better than the product?

What is the rated ripple for the Samxon you found?

Be careful as ripple current is rated at it's max. specified operating temperature !

Ripple is rated at the max temp because at lower temps they can handle more.

          KM - 10uF @ 400V - 10x20mm = 86mA

            10x16 - 78mA

Size may not be bigger and current not less, any good second source?
