So, I was at the local Best Buy a few days ago, checking out new cameras (getting a new one ) and I saw one of these there http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....ustomerreviews
If you read the one review, he says that there was a display model with a clear top, and that's the one I saw. I was very impressed, there are rows of yellow X capacitors, gigantic inductor coils....but then I look at the electrolytic caps....and they're JunFu! 500 bucks for a freaking power strip on steroids, and they put in JunFu? What a piece of junk...

On a side note, I bought one of these http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/pro...oducts_id=8376 last spring, and, like the picture, it's electrolytics are Panasonic FC. It amazes me that the 10 dollar hobbyist power supply has premium caps, and the 500 dollar uber high fidelity thing has JunFu...

Another rip off...

Were you at the BB in portage? Or are you no where near there. I've seen those at the portage one, and I just rolled my eyes at it.

I also like the huntkey 650W psu's they sell there as 700W psu's. They actually aren't terrible, but they are not worth the price.

Oh, those are just for show on the Display Model.
You see, they picked them for the pretty yellow color.

When you actually buy one, I'm sure that it's packed full of plain ordinary brown caps.
