Asus 3-pin charger resistor

Hi,

Does someone know the value of the resistor between the central pin and ground of a 90W Asus 3-pin charger for notebooks?

On some Asus laptop it is used for the "A/D_MAX_POWER", wich is connected to an analog input of the EC.

The resistor placed in the charger is the lower one of a resistor divider, the upper one is placed on the motherboard (100 KOhm) and it is tied to 3V.

I remember a value of 90 KOhm for this resistor, but I can't remember if it was a 90W or 65W charger.

If someone has a 90W Asus 3-pin charger, please let me know.

Right now I have an ASUS ADP-65GD 19.0V 3.42A 65W AC Adapter, it reads 93KOhm central pin to ground
A20-180P1A 20.0V 9.0A 180W reads 56KOhm, hope this helps

i'm surprised they arent using a 1wire digital eeprom like other makers.

ASUS X54H laptop thinks it's always charging even with charger unplugged

The charging indicator light on my ASUS X54H laptop is always on even when the charger is disconnected.

Windows also shows ''Plugged in'' when charger is not connected.

This problem started year ago gradually, when unplugging the charger the charging light took several seconds to disappear, then minutes, and now almost always on even when unplugged for an entire day.
Strangely, before sometimes immediately when plugging in the charger the charging light went away, and later came back with it connected.
If I let battery run out and say it has 3% Windows will...

ASUS Laptop wont power on when charger is plugged in

Hi everyone, I have an issue with an ASUS Laptop model K553E. It will power on when no charger is plugged in, but when the charger is pluged in and is in an off stte it wount turn on.
I tried another keyboard and it has the same problem ruled out the battery checked the voltages at the buck converters getting normal 5 v and 3.3V nothing is running hot. the machine runs perfectly. any ideas as to what might be causing this?

Need help identifying resistor on Asus FA507RC DA0NJNMBAD0 schematic

Hi colleagues,

Looking for a schematic DA0NJNMBAD0 or the MP2845A 6-phase PWM controller.

Working here on a DA0NJNMBAD0 rev D motherboard (Asus FA507RC) with liquid damage. Board has some tiny corrosion around the MP2845A controller and one resistor is missing. I need to know the value of the resistor, but no schematics are available. Not even for the MP chip or anything similar (this is a 6 phase PWM controller).

On one side of the pad 20V is present. The other side connects to a cap and to pin 16 of the MP2845A. Resistor seems too small for VCC...
