Hello. I had the same problem with a asus laptop, after disasembly the battery was not working. The solution was to put the battery back in, connect the charger, laptop asus starts by itself. After that i press the power button for 1 minute, laptop is power off and after 1 minute of presing the power buton, the laptop is starting and the battery is charging, and power on on battery.Leave a comment:

This is how i solved Dell Latitude 5500 Bios Pasword
Bios is the same with Latitude 5400.
I have the version with 1 bios chip and a dump of 32 mb.
1. you need a clean version of bios
2 you need UEFITool_0.28.0_win32
3. you need a dump from your laptop bios chip
After you have the dump from your bios chip you import the file in UEFITool_0.28.0_win32, Extract ME Region and save it in your laptop.
Next, open UEFITool_0.28.0_win32 again and import the clean version of...Leave a comment:
