2 days ago, my xbox 360 s psu finally gave up. Something popped inside and it turned off. I found 2 blown components , a blown fuse resistor but I don't know what the other component is. I desoldered it yesterday and I ,sadly, lost it, but there are the same components on the input (pic 2). It's labeled as "GT5" (pic 3) and it connects the bridge rectifier with the transformer. (pic 1) Does anybody know which component is it?

Re: Xbox 360 delta psu
If stj is correct that "GT5" is a gas discharge tube, you probably had a very substantial voltage spike on your AC line, GT5 (and maybe the other two GTs as well) fired, which then blew the fusible resistor.
You may be able to replace the fusible resistor and not replace GT5. If you have a lot of thunderstorms or live near industrial equipment that causes a lot of surges, not having GT5 could be risky. But if buying a new Xbox power supple isn't a realistic option, you may need to do that. Delta Electronics has two offices in Slovakia, but I don't know if they could be helpful.PeteS in CA
Power Supplies should be boring: No loud noises, no bright flashes, and no bad smells.
