I see they chose a gutless wonder PSU for this test. How about instead of testing 3 of the same supply you test 3 different PSUs?

Probably because that was the only PSU that didn't have protection kick in and gave that wow factor they were looking for.

the more of this underperforming junk that is exposed the better.
think of it as a car advertised with a 10000 rpm redline that blows up at 7500.
if i had more time i would set up tests of this crap and youtube the results.
only thing i would do different is leave the cover on one as a control.
if it blows up too you cant blame lack of airflow from a missing cover.
