Power supply from dot matrix Fujitsu printer

Hello guys, here i have an PS , from Fujitsu old printer. It's seems good, all caps are fine , and there is zero damage, on board , and it must work , but it dosen't.
I can't find anything for this PS, so lets try here, i measured voltage on primary side and its all fine, but secondary i don't know 0 volts at everything heheh.
I tried something jump as "PS ON", tried to put load on output terminals, try guess nothing! ,It seems to have some "Photothyristor Coupler"

    , and some pic.
    Thanks hehe

get a datasheet for that str series regulator,
see if it uses a startup voltage or pulse.
most old crappy switching regulator chips either use a small startup cap - 4.7-47uf or a resistor to the rectified mains to kickstart the chip.
    find them and destroy them.
i mean test or replace them!

There are two start up lytics caps, one is close to the heat sink, and another one is to the right of it. This is an always on power supply, no PS_ON CONTROL.

Do you have cap meter that can check the capacitance and ESR? if not, then you can try changing the caps.

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
            by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

            Assuming...

Desoldering gun station modified to use a 18 volt @ 20 amp switching power supply
            by sam_sam_sam
I have wanting to do this project for quite sometime now and I finally found a switching power supply that will work on this desoldering gun station ZD-915 that the original switching power supply took a shit and just was not worth trying to fix it because this switching power is not quite big enough to handle the heater element and the vacuum pump

One note when I tested the switching power supply and the voltage control board I noticed that this desoldering gun heat up much faster than the original switching power supply which I was really surprised by to the point that I might buy...

Need some help with Epson Printer Power Supply C655 MAIN
            by UglyBetty
Here is the back story. This printer had been sitting for about two years not used. I removed the print head to clean it (completely dried out). I cleaned it and reinstalled in. Powered the printer on, the printer started going through it's normal start-up procedure and part way through it was like the power just shut off. No sound, not lights, no error messages, it just went completely off. I suspect the power supply.

At any rate, the schematic for the power supply is included.

There is a lot going on on the low voltage side that I am not able to make heads or tails...
