    Ancient RTE Power/Mate PSU

    Just as the title says. From the 80's I think. Note that the transformers are ALL laminated, silicon steel type. No clue what it came out of, however the 14V makes me think of a lead-acid battery charging system. For now I will let the pictures do the talking

      nothing much to say, but as you already mentioned it is perfect supply for charging car batteries

        Does it still work and have you tested the electrolytic caps? All those stand up resistors remind me of some old Fluke DMM's that I own. Some of those transistor packages are an uncommon sight these days.

        So what do you plan to do with it?

          Haven't had the time to fully test it. I don't know what I will do with it yet.
