Here is a good one
We have a saw where I work at that when it cold outside ( 30* F) the computer screen would not come ON
So I called tech support the tech tell me that another customer has the same problem so they put a heat lamp on the Computer stack board to warm them and the screen came back ON and they left the heat lamp on it to long and melted the chips on the board
The tech tell me that there three board that could cause this problem
the one board was $400.00
the second and the three board they would need the board # to give a price
I had a problem with a over head crane having problem working right when it was cold as well it problem was 2 10uf caps on the current sensing board
after replacing these two caps it now works all the time even when it cold
I found (5) 10uf caps on the main computer that the ESR reading where 3.5 times high when cold than a new ( FC caps these caps might be over kill ) after replacing these 5 caps now it works when cold
